Been awhile since I toked
Choked, and mind eased
Thoughts provoking, knowledge teased
Let me ask you a question
Where does your mind lay at
Mainstream? or beyond that
Are you believing the lies
Or do you have eyes to realize
We get lied to and accept
Not truth, tainted rep
Lies venom but we were raised up in em
Ebola, existed for thirty eight years
Yet, the ignorant claiming the end is near
Some still choose to believe the statements
"They wouldn't do that, I trust our government"
9/11,Iraq War, and conspiracies emerge
But how can you call it false until you do research
Knowledge shouldn't be handed, but earned
And knowledge handed is often false and burns
Crash and burn, why would they care
Just like the wars, They weren't there
absensce of integrity causing scare trust
and we must unite, don't allow your brain to rust
Why is it that we have a domestic war on drugs
Mothers, Fathers, Sons, Children excluding thugs
This war is failing isn't that obvouis
Why is a god-given plant banned? Laws obnoxouis
Not a single fatality has been caused by cannabis
But many families alcohol has caused children to be missed
And I can sit and speak truth all night and day
But it takes a special person to listen to what I say
Accept that the world is dark
Never be scared to bark
Make yourself heard
And don't just accept spoken words
You need to create your own knowledge
Maybe then you will come back, read, and acknowledge
